PopTop Productions is a full-service creative agency and media production house. We build compelling narratives that are steeped in authenticity and expertise earned from years of working with brands, professionals, and athletes. Commitment to quality is the bedrock our work is built upon, and we like to think of our lived experience—from modest beginnings working out of a truck camper turned editing studio, to producing effective, powerful content for commercial clients—as the glue that holds it all together. We believe that a well-told story is its own reward, and have brought ideas to life for clients such as Red Bull, Ford, Adidas, Arc’teryx, Comcast, Outside TV, Teton Gravity Research, Climbing Magazine, Mammut, Marmot, Sante Fe Board of Tourism, and others.
DREW HERDER
CO-FOUNDER, EDITOR, JACK OF ALL TRADES
Drew Herder brings years of directing, cinematography, and editing experience to Poptop Productions. Creating a quality product is always at the forefront of Drew’s mind, and he comes home with the goods whether he’s biking between BASE exits in the desert or sitting out howling subzero winds on the side of a Russian volcano. (After 5 years of traveling and living in a camper through winters with no heat—and eating frozen eggs for breakfast every day—these types of things are vacations for Drew.) After earning a degree in film production, Drew worked as the in-house editor at Roam Media while also running his own production company, where he acquired experience across the full spectrum of film production, from shooting to editing to directing. While he takes his craft seriously, Drew excels at creating a light, comfortable, and fun environment: there’s never a dull moment on a shoot with Drew.
TYLER RIZZUTO

Tyler Rizzuto is enamored with capturing raw human emotion, and his work is defined not only by its captivating visuals but by its enduring emotional power. As a photographer, cinematographer, and director, Tyler brings a unique combination of technical expertise, practical experience, and versatility to Poptop: He’s at home in a studio setting, but he’s equally comfortable shooting from a fixed line hundreds of feet up a rock face, or out the back of a speeding vehicle. Tyler is fully committed to the task at hand, and his breadth of experience includes a successful career as a freelancer, a background in marketing, plus time spent rock climbing at a professional level—when Tyler goes in on something, he goes all in. Driven by relationships, Tyler excels at keeping everyone involved in a project—from clients to collaborators—comfortable and on the same page.
